This year is definitely ending.

A pretty rote Christmas. I wouldn't call it boring, since my big thing in the here and now is two full seasons of Alias. Being broke on Christmas isn't something that I call a good fortune, but 2004 will work out just fine. And Prometheus? Just call it a has-been. He's almost dead. It's time to start looking for another laptop. Charybdis is back in my good graces, but trust me when I say that this computer sucks. So if you catch me working at a second job flipping burgers and frying fries, just smile and wave. EJ needs another Prometheus in the worst way.

Finishing up the fivers for the year...because I need to put this behind me and start 2004 with some changes all the way around. I've been told that 2004 could be the Year of Gay Anal Sex (Joke, people... it's a joke).

It's all about meeting the cool people here. Cecily is no exception. No shyness there, and completely down to earth. We genuinely glad to see her, and the meeting was too short.

While sitting at Starbucks around the corner here, we talked about the blogging universe, being in school and dealing with daily life, life without being with R., and being in the South versus being in Vancouver where multiple ethicities run rampant along the masses. The meeting was far too short, and I'm sure we'll be meeting again.

BL 2003 - the fivers, part I

Let's just watch us glow....
-"Glow", Kelis, Tasty

2003 touched on a little of everything. There are lots of lists in my head, but not enough time to think and type in one day. Let's get it started....

Big Lists of 2003 - The Fivers, Part I

BL 2003 - essential cds

Jason did it (and there will be more, bet!), so you know it's time to run the marathon with him!

Big Lists of 2003 - Essential CDs of 2003

This was not the easiest thing to go with. It took a while to actually come up with a top-10 which I thought would be pretty extraordinary and diverse. Unfortunately, it's not. Music needs to surprise me in 2004. Also, the fact in this list got obliterated on an attempt to post it the first time is making me a not-so-happy person.

Without further ado:

jason finishes!

Saddam Hussein? How wonderful. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

NegroPlease has passed the halfway mark. Thanks to SprintPCS Connection Manager, I'm sitting here at a gas station and typing all of this info in, all while giving Prometheus juice, using Prometheus6's program, and uploading an image of NegroPlease. He has passed 11 miles and we got a chance to give him props at that point. We'll wait for him to pass the 22 mark, and if all is well, we'll be able to get a picture of him. Stay tuned.
