One of the things I'm doing this year is starting to drop weekly vibes on music
that's often in my headphones or playing in the car. This week, I thought it
would be good to drop science about the hip-hop- CDs slept on last year, the
ones that are presently making people bob their heads, and most important, ones
up and coming this year. KB
mentions us as SP's, or sound
providers. Has a nice ring to it, and I believe we want to keep that vibe.
Check it out.
The
Weekly Vibe - Hip Hop Collaboration.
01 - Snoop Dogg - Signs (Feat Charlie Wilson And Justin Timberlake).
Sorry, but please don't hate me when I say that this song is absolutely stupid
and is probably my most played cut this week.
02 - Ludacris - Child Of The Night (Feat. Nate Dogg). Ditto on this
track. The hook that makes the track stand out? Portugese Love.
03 - Deep Thinkers - Movin' On. There are some benefits
of sharing tunes and being able to listen and appreciate good flows. Deep
Thinkers is no exception. The CD, Necks Move is a solid CD which, in my
opinion, isn't considered mainstream, which makes it more appealing. Those who
can appreciate good turntablism can appreciate Movin' On. Their release is scheduled
on 3/8/05. If anyone's interested in more information about this release, let
me know.
04 - Bathgate - Everything's A Go (The Flow). Ian, the mastermind of
Notes From a
Different Kitchen, dropped Bathgate to me last month. The label Supreme
Clientele, which is their mission to bring back classic underground hip
hop music, is distributing the first release from Bathgate, a Harlem MC with
a tight flow. There's a great writeup about him here,
so check him out.
05 - Mos Def - Leavin' On A Jet Plane. KB
dropped this one on me (and for some reason I thought it was Honey. My bad). Color me dizzy.
06 - Jazze Pha - Can I Walk By. Friends dropped me a CD from Jazze
Pha that had not been released, "Do You Know This Playboy." Several
good cuts on that CD. This is one of them.
07 - Handsome Boy Modeling School - The World's Gone Mad. Good stuff.
I'm not alone. I'm sure Todd and KB say the same thing I do about HBMS.
08 - Murs - The Animal. Was sent to me for the Christmas season, and
I have no idea who sent it to me. For the person I got this from, thanks much.
Please let me know who you are.
09 - Wordsworth - 12 Months. I believe it will be one of the sleepers
this year.
10 - Gift of Gab - Ride of Your Life. Dropped by Todd Kelley (pound
pound!)
11 - Ghostface Killah - Holla. Another CD I slept on from last year.
(Thank Saga for the goodness).
12 - Edgar Allen Floe - The Righteous Way To Go. Think Foreign Exchange.
Todd also dropped this one to me.
13 - Snopp Dogg - Drop It Like Its Hot (Remix). Another track from
Honey. Features Jay-Z.
14 - Big Pooh (Little Brother) - Heart Of The City. Another Todd Kelley
vibe.
15 - One.Be.Lo - Decepticons (Pete Rock Remix). One more from Honey.
16 - Ali Shaheed Muhammed - Industry/Life. When I talked to Ali, he
mentioned that promotion for this CD was a little light, and he's hoping that
people start vibing to it this year. I'll be dropping more cuts as well.
Feedback? Things we may have forgotten or need to vibe to? Drop it here.
Some guys
have been waiting for me to post the answers to OSWs
questions. Well, here ya go.....
- "Change of Heart" was produced by Jimmy
Jam and Terry Lewis, and was produced by Jacques Fred Petrus,
the creator and executive producer of Change. The duo flew
to Italy to produce the album but they never got paid!
- Mary Davis, after separating from the SOS Band,
generated two albums, Steppin' Out and Separate Ways,
which was a LaFace production (LA, Babyface,
DeRock, and Kayo). LaFace also produced
tracks off of the Mac Band's first album. "Stuck"
was the first single. After she released this album, Mary worked at Peppermint
Records in Atlanta until August 1995 where she reunited with the
band for live shows.
- We all know about Junior Giscombe because someone
peeked. That someone didn't know that James "D-Train"
Williams was a football player who decided he wanted to sing instead
and hooked up with Hubert Eaves III.
- For Dynasty's "The Only One", yes, it's true
that Leon Sylvers, III produced this album, but the writers
were no other than the ones mentioned above, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. These
tracks were done before Flytetyme took off in full force.
- Last but not least, Portrait's neo-soul "On And On"
was graced by no other than Grover Washington, Jr. (Dec.
12, 1943 - Dec. 7, 1999).
Today, the man on the turntables is no other than KB, who's bouncing the tunes
with his
After Party. Head on over there and bounce to it! With Koffee Brown
all the way to Dave Hollister, you have no choice but to bob
your head. I know I'm bobbin' mine.
Coming this weekend: another collabo, and stay tuned for the next OSW...it's
already in the works....
You know when they say that great minds think alike? Well imagine when there
were two minds that helped shape this OSW. It's the meeting of the minds - Fresh!
and Phill. But first, let me answer some of these questions posted last week:
Q: Unlimited Touch - I Hear Music In The Streets - Yep, one of Prelude's
gems. Nice jam, along with the sleeper Private Party. Trivia - The lead female
singer also sang lead on what Jeff Lorber hot dance tune?
A: Audrey Wheeler is one of the lead female singers, but for the life of me
I can't remember which Jeff Lorber track she sung on. I do remember her doing
background vocals for Luther Vandross. But what I really, really liked her in
was another cut from D-Train called Misunderstanding (which
I coudn't find in time for this arby).
Q: Steve Arrington - Weak At The Knees - Man, phat nasty and funky. I think
one of Steve's nastiest jams. DoubleTrivia - What famous black haircare product
commercial did Stevie sing lead on and recorded with Slave for? and what is
Stevie doing now?
A: It took me a while but I remember when I was doing some research on
Slave's bass player and them talking about one of the radio commercials they
did. I want to say it's Soul Glo, but I have a feeling I am so wrong. Of course,
I do know what Stevie is doing now and that is ministry for a church, where
he also plays drums. Trivia in return: what was the name of the bass player,
and what famous song did he arrange and play bass on that was not done
with Slave?
Q: The System - You Are In My System - I..love...The System!. This is a
cah-lass-ic. I've always been awed by David Franks, intricate but phat drum
and synth programming! I have everything they released. DoubleTrivia - Mic Murphy
was a roadie for what R&B band before hookin' up with Dave Frank? (Hint:
"Keeep Your Body Workin'") and what unknown diva (living in the same
building as Mic) did The System record demos for her, while she was yet an unknown
singer? (Hint: "Vogue")
A: David Frank lived in the same building as Madonna, of course. I couldn't tell
you who we was a roadie for though. Woah!
As you can see, Fresh! up got me thinking about the next OSW, but there was
actually someone else behind the scenes as well, and that someone is Phill,
the man from Enigmatic
Musings of a Cynical Mind. Way back when, there was an arby that KB and
I did a collaboration on, and that was Parliament. Some time later, Phill and
I, early in the morning, started going back and forth about music, old school,
and taking ventures on the wayback machine, and that's where this arby comes
from. Presenting:
Old
School Wednesday: The Triple Threat - EJ, Phill, and Fresh!
the full deal »
01 - Change - Change Of Heart. Phill and I were talking about
this track, which just happens to be one of my favorites. Trivia questions:
1) Who produced this song; 2) How much did the production company get paid;
3) Where was it produced?
02 - Mac Band - Stuck. Roses are Red was what made me pull
this track out.
03 - Mary Davis - Don't Wear It Out. Trivia questions: 1) Where
did Mary work after this album was released; 2) Who did the production? (Hint:
think #02). *Special thanks to TLH,
who provided me with this track!
04 - Cameo - I Just Want To Be. Phill said "Mary Davis"
and "Cameo" in rapid succession, so I had to pull them out.
05 - One Way - Cutie Pie. If you look westward, you'll see
Gwen groovin' to this one.
06 - Fonda Rae - Over Like A Fat Rat. Phill dropped this one,
while Fresh! dropped.....
07 - Carol Hall & Orbit - And The Beat Goes On.
After all that grooving, I had to slow it down a little bit though....
08 - Junior - Too Late (12 Inch Version). While Phill and I
were talking about Mama Used To Say, this song was also mentioned. Remember
this one? Trivia: No peeking. What's his last name?
09 - Billy Ocean - Nights (Feel Like Gettin' Down). His first
hit.
10 - D-Train - Walk On By. Trivia: You had David Frank and
Mic Murphy for The System, but 1) Who was the keyboardist for D-Train; 2)
What did D-Train do before he started singing?
11 - Earth, Wind, & Fire - Can't Hide Love.
12 - Dynasty - The Only One. Phill came up with this one. Trivia:
1) Who wrote this song; 2) Who produced it?
13 - Portrait - On And On. Todd's vibe made me pull this out....and yeah, I know I claim I'm not a romantic, but this song melts me every single time I hear it. I ain't ashamed! Trivia: Who's playing the saxophone?
Vibe on, and thank those guys. They were the impetus to the groove. I'm just
the provider! Now I'm just waiting on all the answers....
« back to normal.
[Edit 01.25.05 - added four more people....scroll to the end]
It's cold outside but it's warm in here. George
tagged me on
this one. So what? It's Sunday.
Random 10:
1. Loose Ends - Gratitude
2. Blaze - Keep Hope Alive
3. Jazzanova - Sponsored By The Alphabet
4. Gaelle - Rain
5. Jody Watley - Skin Deep
6. Madvillain - Bistro
7. Unlimited Touch - Your Love Is Serious
8. Incognito - Autumn Song
9. Night Of Music - Savannah
10. Sly & The Family Stone - Family Affair
1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer?
Let's see...my iPod has about 1010 songs, (5.04GB). It's new and I try to keep
it at a minimum. The laptop, Hermes, has 4,623 songs (23.69GB) because it's
with me at all times. Just for kicks, I also dropped the server Apollo in the
mix, which as of now has 18,804 songs, (72.7 GB). Like George,
they come from everywhere, from everyone...downloads, mixes, you name it.
2.The last CD you bought is:
Positive
Flow Featuring Donna Garnier - Can You Feel It from the rekkasto, The
Game's Untold Story from Amazon.
3.What is the song you last listened to before this message?
Interestingly enough, I was listening to "Walk on By", By D-Train....preparing
for OSW, of course.
4. Write down five songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
As of today, these mean a lot or stick in my head: Gaelle's "Repetition";
Heatwave's "Star of the Story"; Esthero's "Half A World Away";
Michael Johnson's "Own Way"; Wordsworth's "Shoulder". They
just hit me in the right spots right this minute.
Honorable Mentions: Snoop Dogg/Charlie Wilson/Justin Timberlake's "Signs";
Swing Out Sister's "All In Your Mind/O Pesadelo Dos Autores"; Lo-Key/Herb
Alpert's unreleased version of "Hey There Pretty Lady"; Isaac Hayes'
"Return of the Pimpmobile"; Massive Attack/Tracy Thorn's "Protection"
; Cee-Lo's "Sometimes"; Laurnea's "No Shame"... I could
do this all day....
5. Who are you gonna pass this stick to (three persons and why)?
I can't believe I have to limit myself to three people, but:
Trent
and JT
already did it, and Todd
can't do it right now (we're still performing surgery- so I'll just tag him
to do it once he's back in the mix).... but for the three right now: KB
(cause he loves it, I know he does, and I gotta poke him), Honey
(because I'm still wondering what she and Lis
were talkin' 'bout last week), and Fresh!
('cause I still have to answer his questions from last week).
[01.25.05 - adding four more: Anitra,
cause she needs to provide us with her goodness; James,
because he's got all the good jazz stuff and no-one's hit him up yet; Joseph,
because I know he's got some good stuff in his head; Timi,
'cause she needed to be tagged the last time.].
There are 15 more people in my head, right now, so if you're reading this,
I want to know what's in your head too!
When Fresh! from Vibes n Scribes hits me
up, you know I have to answer the call. In case you're unfamiliar with Fresh!,
know that he is the man who vibes,
who scribes,
and is also one of the
masterminds behind a production company. He asked, so I had to deliver:
Old
School Wednesday: The Fresh! Mix.
These songs range from the disco era (1978) to the nineties (1993). (Pop quiz:
which song is the oldest? Which song is the newest?)
01 - Invisible Man's Band - All Night Thing.
02 - Foxy- Get Off.
03 - D-Train - You're The One For Me.
04 - Unlimited Touch - I Hear Music In The Streets.
05 - Steve Arrington - Weak At The Knees.
06 - Howard Johnson - So Fine.
07 - Kashif - Lover Turn Me On.
08 - Chic - Your Love.
09 - The System - You Are In My System.
10 - Aurra - Are You Single.
11 - Mac Band - Roses Are Red.
Tell me....were you when you first heard some of these cuts?
Show your love! Reminisce, and enjoy the vibe.

Baker's Dozen: Come Around! From KB's Bakers Dozen.
Let's start with the highlight of the weekend, first.
1. I got an email from the rekkasto telling me to show up at 3pm to meet no other than.....
2. Darien Brockington. You know about Foreign Exchange, right? We've only been mentioning it as one of the best CDs this year. If so, then you know that a primary vocalist, Darien, on five of the tracks has laced the CD with his presence.
3. Darien was at the rekkasto as a live-in store guest and sung 4 tracks from his upcoming CD.
4. Both of us start grinning from ear to ear when he says, "Nicolay is producing the album," he says, "so you know it's going to be tight, right?"
5. "How'd you guys meet?" I ask. Long story short: Phonte from Little Brother casually mentioned that he had some tracks from Nicolay that needed vocals. Five songs, 12 months, and countless concerts later, Darien has a record label deal, a shrewd manager (pound, pound, Monty), is getting ready to drop a CD. Release date? May.
6. "Can a brotha get some of those tracks, an EP, somethin'?!" I asked. (The jury is still out). Two of the tracks he sung, Call Me and Come Around are on his website, so check them out.
...and as for me, well....
the full deal »
7. The rest of my MLK weekend was uneventful, except for a desktop assasination attempt. Laptop killer has now turned to desktop killer. Desktop at work decides it wants to give me the blue screen of death and reboot itself continuously.
8. As if that weren't enough, I can also be known as the headlight killer. The headlight goes out on me requiring another bulb.
9. ...which would be all well and good if I (and the service attendants) were able to remove the old and replace it with the new one. Yes, my powers are known in the automotive sector too.
10. Dinner with cool people is always nice, but missing a couple of others always seems to be the downside. Let's hope we can get it right next time.
11. Of course having the dinner has managed to deter two 101/1001s, but next month promises to put this weekend to shame, trust me. New Orleans, I'm on my way.
12. And last, but not least, am I wrong for liking the new Battlestar Galactica? « back to normal.
I wanted to start the year 2005 off with an exciting note. Little did I know
that I would that my SUV would too. Brother EJ is kinda broke, but at least
the vehicle works now.
Since I was literally unable to use the brakes to slow down my vehicle, I've
decided to apply brakes somewhere where they would be effective, and that's
here. I'm still listening to the Christmas presents (12 CDs! thanks y'all!),
so there's a lot of music to drop - including some previews of some hip hop
albums that are scheduled for released the first quarter of this year so stay
tuned. Today, I'm going to drop the mellow flow.
Friday Melodies - The Mellow Flow.
01 - Frank McComb.
- White Line In the Sky.
02 - Eric Roberson
- Runaway. From Esoteric.
03 - Lalah Hathaway
- Your Favorite Song. One of the finest tracks on the album Outrun The
Sky.
04 - Siji - Starting
Over.
05 - Fantasia
Barrino - Truth Is. Alright, as much as I wasn't willing to admit it, I
kinda dig this album and got infected with it.
06 - New
Edition - Newness. Most people were grooving to Hot 2 Nite. I didn't quite
warm to this album as I had in their past endeavours, but this track stuck out.
07 - HEAVY
- Wonderlove (For Minnie). Nicky Guiland & Casey Benjamin drop a track that's
a tribute to Minnie Ripperton.
08 - Julie Dexter - Look
Who's Got Your Back. From Conscience.
09 - Kenny Lattimore - Climb The
Mountain. From his first CD, my personal favorite track.
10 - Michael
Johnson - Be My Woman. A labelmate and producer of Julie Dexter. His style
has been described as "mediative funk". From Servant Master.
11 - Wordsworth
- Shoulder. The Underground Post described his CD as an "introspective,
sensitive joint". I agree.
12 - Snoop Dogg - Perfect (Featuring Charlie Wilson). This isn't my favorite track, however. It didn't quite fit in this mix, so I didn't include it here, but will be here next Friday. Be on the lookout for it.
13 - Val Watson - Earth,
Wind & Fire. Remember Club Nouveau? Well, in my search for anything Loose
Ends, I got wind of this CD. This former lead vocalist from Club Nouveau drops
tracks which features quite a few artists (including Jane Eugene), so I was
pleased to pick it up. Stay tuned for a couple of tracks from her CD as well.
Have a great weekend.
Today's OSW is bought to you by the initials CITNWABOI, dropped
to us by none other than our pal and host Joe...better known as Metaphyzxx.
You may wonder what CITNWABOI means. Rather than tell you,
why don't I share a little bit of our IM convo just last week, while we were
talking about old-school EWF and....well, read on:
....
[0751] Joe: a little EWF, Chi-Lites, Bloodstone
[0751] EJ: ooooh
[0751] Joe: I was listenin to Natural High the other day
[0751] EJ: don't get me started, cause i'll certainly keep that in mind
for the next OSW.
[0751] Joe: why all the male singers in the 70's wanna sing like they
was wearin their toddler's drawls
[0751] Joe: or got clubbed in the nuts with a bag of ice
[0752] EJ: LMAO
[0752] EJ: i might have to quote you on that.
[0752] Joe: you can have it
[0752] EJ: we were gonna do an OSW with the whiners: Rome, Keith....
[0753] Joe: OH LORD........
[0811] Joe: oh, I can do stuff...
[0811] EJ: you gonna drop it on us? that way we can pull everybody over
to your spot Wednesday.
[0811] Joe: think about it.. "Didn't I blow ya mind this time, didn't
I"
[0812] Joe: for next wednesday...
[0812] Joe: I can do it
[0812] EJ: Stylistics/Chi-Lites.
[0812] Joe: gotta do some research on format, but it's on
[0812] Joe: Blue Magic
[0812] Joe: Sideshow
Make no mistake about it, Joe brings us the hotness with our CITNWABOI!
Stop laughing (and wincing) and show your love!
Baker's Dozen: Look ma! No brakes! From KB's
Bakers
Dozen.
- This weekend I spent time working on my 101/1001. I
even managed to come up with one website to keep all of the information.
Check here on the right hand side periodically, or check on the website.
- 43 things looks
like it could be interesting as well. Since Hashim has mentioned it, I may
partake in it. Doesn't seem too different from 101/1001.
- While I managed to get un-nominated for the BoB awards for best music blog,
they gave me props
for being a great music blog, and for that I'm grateful. They really are
good people, and thanks for the nominations everyone.
- Speaking of music blogs, I may very well stop posting
to this blog. Most of my musical tastes are here on this blog, so we'll
just call it the one-stop-shop for things on my mind. It's easier that way.
- While there's not a lot of free time in my life, I do the workout thang. I even
blog about that too now. The domain name? It's a combination of a nickname
given to me by Ronn Taylor
+ [dot] ejflavors [dot] com. Anyone want to take any guesses?
- Is it okay to be a little dissapointed with Alias?
I wasn't as thrilled with it as I wanted to be. Did I miss something?
- I may have been a little dissapointed with Alias but 24
rocked the big one. In fact, I'm watching it right now after just getting
home from the gym not 3 hours ago. Wanna know what happened?
- While I'm at work today, I check my email on my cellular phone (yeah, I
know, after being almost a week late), and I have a three people that I need
to call, so I write the numbers down, preparing to call them after my workout.
My brakes sound strange, but I think nothing of it.
- I lost a USB connector to my iPod so I head to a Circuit City after the
workout. I don't think much about the car going down a hill and not stopping
like it's supposed to.
- I get ready to call two
people (and if possible, the
third one also) on the way
home, and all of a sudden I realize that my brake light is on and that I
cant stop my vehicle! WTF! i run up on the curb and the brake light goes
off, so I get onto the highway to take it back home with the hazard lights
on....
- ...only to get off at my exit and not be able to stop without putting the
emergency brakes. I can't even turn into the subdivision, and manage to just
barely coast past and have to let Prime
know what's up and to come pick me up.
- Today's lesson learned? Anything electronic, or having a motor, when touched
by me, will cease to work after a period of time. Computers, iPaqs and now
cars. Geeze. I'll be studying this
for the evening. And for the ones I was planning on calling tonight, don't hate me. I'm sure you didn't wanna hear me scream if I hit something.
Since Todd
and Honey
did theirs (and they've been waitin' for me to do mine), I've finally got around
to the first Friday Melodies of the year. And yes, this was extremely, extremely
difficult, because there's really good stuff out there that's not on this list,
and I actually had to whittle this down from 75. If you notice, a lot of my favorite
music is on the mellow tip. Here's a quick breakdown:
Rap/Hip Hop Entries - 6
U.S. singles: 12
Outside of the US: 13
Songs with guitar solos: 2
Songs not on the Essential CDs of 2004: 11

01 - Magic Number with Jane Hamilton - Fly Away. The percussion,
strings, bass, and the sounds of Jane Hamilton. How often do we hear a song with
arrangements and vocals like this? This is my feel-good song.
02 - Gaelle - Falling. I played percussion while growing up,
so now you see why I'm tapping my desk, steering wheel, and tapping my feet
to this groove as well as the one above. How often do you get to hear acoustic
guitar/electronica/percussion? Fade out/fade in near the end, similar to Fly
Away.
03 - Foreign Exchange - Nic's Groove. We just want to chill
and let you party. Enough said.
04 - Tortured Soul - Why. A band that can play live and sound
exactly the same as they do on the recording are good people to wanna pick up.
Live house.
05 - Julie Dexter - Small World. Her album, Conscious, was
just released, and this turns out to be my most played song on iTunes in the
last 3 months. It's also my recommendation to J-Notes.
06 - D'Nell - This Thing. I haven't heard Todd
sing this yet. You haven't heard me sing it yet either. You should be frightened.
07 - Sweetback - Circles. Everytime Anitra
and I hear this song, we just want to wave a lighter in the air. Either that
or play air guitar. I even mentioned it here.
08 - Gaelle - Repetition. If I had a love song to describe
how I feel, this would be it. Love song with an electronic mix, with three words
repeated throughout the song. I'm not a romantic, but this one makes me come
close to it. It sedates me after I listen to Parkway.
09 - Patricia Marx - Diz. Brazilian mellow hip hop. How often
do you get to hear this? I dropped it here
first.
10 - DJ Zeph - Midnight Crewsade. George
hipped
me to DJ Zeph, so when he did it, I played this quite heavily. More drumming,
and this time with horn section. Classic.
11 - Tortured Soul - I Might Do Something Wrong. See #4. This
is J-Notes' favorite- one of
mine as well.
12 - Van Hunt - Out of The Sky. I played this way more than
I played Dust. I love it.
13 - Amp Fiddler - Unconditional Eyes. Waltzin'
With A Ghetto Fly, anyone?
14 - John Legend - Let's Get Lifted. I put this on repeat alot also.
15 - Zap Mama - Bandy Bandy. Ask Todd
what the lyrics are.
16 - Magic Number with Lucy Campbell - Suddenly. More of Ross
Hillard's good tunage.
17 - Beanfield with Ernesto - Someone Like You. I love it when
I'm feeling uptempo. Great electronica and bass mix. Ernesto
enhances it too.
18 - Air - Cherry Blossom Girl. Jason
hipped me to this CD. I love this cut. Makes me think of The Beatles if
they recorded in 2004.
19 - De La Soul - Verbal Clap. Just ask KB or Jason how good
this is. Forilla.
20 - The Strange Fruit Project - Luv Is. Todd Kelley
graced me this one too (Sup, yo?). I haven't gotten their complete sets yet,
however. Hard to find and sold out everywhere.
21 - Siji - Sanctuary. A
CD to watch for this year.
22 - Foreign Exchange - All That You Are. See #3.
23 - Clara Hill - For Your Love. My favorite cut of hers off
of Restless
TImes. Honey's is Maybe Now.
24 - Lewis Taylor - Out of My Head Is The Way I Feel. My retrospective
song whenever I'm in a quandry. It best describes my state of confusion when
it happens.
25 - Handsome Boy Modeling School with Cat Power - I've Been Thinking.
Like KB
says, don't sleep. I love laid back hip hop like this. I think I'll be investing
in Cat Power this
year. Handsome Boy Modeling School 's in heavy rotation, and I may just place
this in my best of 2005.
Your thought? « back to normal.
Happy New Year, my people! Already the new year has started and I've gotten
behind on a few things, like my top
25 songs of 2004, like Honey did. It's alright though. All good things come
in time. Christmas in of itself was great. With a total of 12 new CDs, some
very cool gifts, and an iPod I'm in absolute heaven. I'm sliding towards the
world that is Apple, and for once, I'm gonna let it take me over.
I'll start of this year by letting you know that I have a couple of outlets
that I use to express myself. If you want to know the real me and hear my voice,
email your phone number to eflavors01 [at] sprintpcs dot com
and I'll be sure to call you back. [Note- this paragraph will dissapear in exactly
1 week.]
Speaking of taking over, while I don't have a New Year's resolutions list, I've
finally come up with my list of 101/1001. It took about 17 days for me to come
up with 101, so I'm psyched. Some might sound small, others unattainable, and
I'm sure some of them may even be strange, but what you see is what you get.
I'll be updating this post on the regular, so check back from time to time.
(Blogliners will be automatically
notified).
